Our clients, Thomas and Stephanie, approached us with a vision to extend and renovate their family home to better suit their growing family's needs.

A family of five, they were quickly outgrowing their existing space. The children needed their own dedicated living area, while the adults envisioned an open-plan design that seamlessly connected indoors with the outdoor spaces—creating the ultimate entertainment hub.

We undertook a complete gutting of the entire house, carefully retaining a couple of existing bedrooms and a lounge room. This process included fully renovating the ensuites, bathroom, and laundry areas, transforming them into fresh, modern spaces.

To enhance flow and natural light, large openings were cut into the external walls for expansive bi-fold and sliding doors, alongside a new hallway opening where the old structure met the new extension.

Connecting renovations into an existing building can present challenges, but with meticulous planning and precise execution from our surveyor, earthmovers, concreters, and carpenters, we ensured a seamless transition between old and new—at both ground and roof levels. The project ran smoothly from start to finish, and our clients were able to move back into their beautifully refreshed home in a very short turnaround time.
